:: Color Correction / Photo Manipulation
Quality color printing demands fine color control. At Gran Farnum Printing we take pride in achieving accurate color. Our equipment, from scanners, to monitors, to proofing devices, to film imagesetters, to the presses, are all calibrated to the same set of standards ensuring that your colors will look the same from computer to printed piece. Correction is available on any job as requested. Here is an example>

Gran Farnum Printing recently made a switch from film output to direct to plate processing. By using Computer-to-Plate technology we can meet the scheduling and quality demands of all your print projects. Our plate system takes your artwork from its digital file format direct to our plates, so you can be confident of your project's accuracy.

Although we are primarily a Macintosh based printer, we are able to read PC files as well. We accept files from the following software applications >

With changing technology, supplying files for printing has only gotten easier. Digital files can be emailed, uploaded via ftp, supplied by disk and more. Please check our File output form or our Proofing Tips section to make sure your files are complete.

Helpful Hints for sending artwork:
• Make sure your artwork files are fully complete. Check out our File Output Form under our Design Tips section.
• Save your file or folder to your desktop or hard drive (the location should be easy to find).
• Compress or zip your files before emailing. This may be one of the most crucial steps to take for sending a file safetly over the internet.
• Open your email program and begin a new message.
• To: artwork@printing4you.com
• For Subject description please refer to your printing job's name.
• Write a note about your job and it's instructions, be as specific as you can.
• To attach your artwork file, look for the paper clip icon or go to Edit / Attach File. Click either and browse for your compressed file(s). Click Choose or OK and check to see that your file or folder is attached in your email program.
• And lastly, double-check all email addresses, instructions and attached artwork.
• An Automatic Reply will be sent back to your email address stating that we have received your message and artwork and are reviewing your files. If you do not receive this reply, your email has not been received by us. Please contact us and we will help you further.

• Upload / Download files by ftp > FTP (file transfer protocal)

• CD > We accept both Mac and PC disks. Please check your CD after burning to insure all files are compiled.
